The road maintenance shops are where county crews and equipment are based to keep roads in good condition across the county. They handle daily road work like repairing potholes, clearing ditches, maintaining signs, and responding to issues reported by the public. Crews are assigned by region (east and west county) so they can respond quickly to local needs. The shops also coordinate snow removal, vegetation control, and routine maintenance to keep roads safe and passable year-round.
