Our Mission
Everyone has the right to legal representation. Our department helps protect that right by making sure people who cannot afford an attorney still receive fair treatment under the law.
What We Do
We assign qualified attorneys to represent people charged with crimes who meet financial eligibility requirements. We also coordinate defense services for juvenile cases.
Who We Serve
We serve people in:

- Juvenile Court (youth cases)
What We Do Not Do
We do not provide legal help for most civil cases such as divorce, landlord disputes, or small claims.
