Garbage & Transfer Station

The Central Transfer Station is a full-service facility accepting refuse from private businesses, commercial collection route vehicles, commercial drop box vehicles, rural transfer stations and self-hauling public.  Service is provided by LeMay's, inc. doing business as Aberdeen Sanitation, Harbor Disposal - West of Wynoochee River, and EGH Disposal - East of Wynoochee River.

Where Your Garbage Goes

All rural transfer stations were closed as of February 1, 2013.  Grays Harbor County is no longer burying municipal solid waste in the County, our landfills are full and closed. All garbage brought in is processed at an on-site transfer station. Once processed, the garbage is trucked to the Wasco Landfill in The Dalles, OR. The garbage is then buried at the Roosevelt Regional Landfill, owned by Allied Waste Systems Inc.
