WHAT'S HAPPENING:

  • 2027 COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN - Grays Harbor County is beginning the process for a new Comprehensive Land Use Plan, which is anticipated to be completed by late 2026.  The project is in its early stages.  Members of the public are encouraged to check back in Summer 2025 for additional information and opportunities to participate.  Updates will be shared on the outreach page as the project progresses.
  • ONLINE PERMITTING -  We are excited to announce a new multilingual feature available on our Online Permitting Portal. You can now choose from over 100 different languages to assist with your online applications! With the Online Portal you can submit applications, make payments, track application status, request inspections, review historic permits, parcel information and more.   • 2021 WILDLAND URBAN INTERFACE CODE - The implementation of the 2021 Wildland Urban Interface Code has been postponed awaiting the creation of new mapping by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources.  This process is anticipated to take 1-2 years after which the County will have up to 6 months to implement the code.  Please revisit this site regarding updates on this issue.
