Emergency planning helps the County respond effectively.  Key plans include the Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) as well as the 2024 Hazard Mitigation Plan.  These plans guide how agencies work together during disasters and how risks are reduced over time. 

Grays Harbor County, its jurisdictions, and its special purpose districts have updated the Grays Harbor County Hazard Mitigation Plan as approved by FEMA on April 12th, 2024.
