Request District Court Records

Access court records and case information for Grays Harbor County District Court.

Important Note: Court Records vs Public Records

Court records are different from public records requests. Court records follow court rules (GR 31, 31.1 and 22). They do not fall under the Washington State Public Records Act RCW 42.56.

If you are looking for non-court records, please contact the County Public Records Department.

District Court case records include documents related to traffic infractions, criminal cases, civil cases, and other matters handled by District Court. These records are managed by District Court staff.

You can request copies of court records, and in many cases, you can view case information online or at the court. Some records are confidential by law and are not available to the public.

Court staff can help you check the status of a case, provide access to court records (unless sealed or confidential), provide copies of documents, answer general questions about court procedures and schedules, and provide court-approved forms. However, staff cannot give legal advice, help you fill out forms, tell you what to say in court, recommend legal strategies or take sides in a case. If you need legal advice, please contact an attorney or a legal aid organization.
