County Administrator Purpose
The County Administrator helps manage the daily operations of our County government and supports the work of the Board of County Commissioners. The Administrator carries out policies set by the Commissioners, coordinates the work of county departments, and helps ensure services run smoothly for residents. This role also assists with county planning, budgeting, and special projects, and works with local, state, and community partners to support county priorities. The goal is to help county government operate efficiently and provide reliable services to the people of Grays Harbor County.
What the County Administrator Does
- Helps carry out decisions made by the Board of County Commissioners
- Oversees the day-to-day work of county departments
- Makes sure county services are delivered effectively to residents
- Works with staff to solve problems and improve services
