Grays Harbor County Temporary Burn Ban Restriction in Effect
Effective at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, the Grays Harbor County Fire Marshal's Office and local Fire Districts have enacted a temporary burn restriction due to warm, dry weather conditions. All residential yard waste burning and land-clearing burns are prohibited until further notice.
Recreational campfires and charcoal cooking are still allowed in approved fire pits, barbecues, and designated campgrounds. Campfires on private property are permitted with the landowner's permission if they meet fire safety requirements, including proper fire rings, adequate clearances, and the presence of water and tools to extinguish the fire. Campfires must be attended at all times and completely extinguished when finished.
Residents are encouraged to use self-contained camp stoves as an alternative. Additional information is available from the Grays Harbor County Fire Marshal's Office.
