Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Office Seeks Information in Lindsey Jo Baum Case
The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in the kidnapping and homicide investigation of Lindsey Jo Baum, who disappeared on June 26, 2009, while walking home from a friend’s house in McCleary, Washington.
In September 2017, partial remains were discovered in the Manastash area of Kittitas County and later confirmed to be Lindsey’s. Authorities are asking for continued vigilance—especially from hunters and outdoor recreationists—to help locate additional remains or evidence.
If any possible human remains are discovered, individuals are urged not to disturb the site, to note the location or coordinates if possible, and to immediately contact authorities by calling 911. A reward of up to $40,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
